I have completed my PhD in 2018 in the Management of Territory and Natural Environment Program at the University of Zaragoza (Spain). I also received my B.Sc. degree and M.Sc. degree in Geography from University of Santa Maria (Brazil), in 2010 and 2012, respectively. My research interests lie primarily in the areas of Remote Sensing, Geotechnologies and Geoecology, currently focusing on the monitoring and assessment of fire occurrence on tropical savannas. My current research seeks to assess vegetation responses in experimental fires over Amazonian savanna areas, linking the monitoring of environmental variables derived from remote sensing with multitemporal in situ measurements.
